Il “Wienachtsdorf” sulla Sechseläutenplatz, uno dei mercatini di Natale più grandi di Zurigo, si trova direttamente davanti al Teatro dell’Opera, ed è un vero e proprio villaggio natalizio di 100 bancarelle che offrono artigianato locale e gastronomia per soddisfare ogni golosità. Da non perdere il ristorante Fondue Chalet in stile baia per gustare un'ottima fondue (ne hanno ben 5 tipi diversi) in compagnia.
Il mercatino di Natale più antico di Zurigo è un piccolo mondo a sé nel cuore del "Niederdorf", come viene chiamata una parte del centro storico.
Il Christkindlimarkt nella Stazione Centrale di Zurigo è uno dei mercatini di Natale coperti più grandi d'Europa.

One of the largest Christmas markets in the city of Zurich is held at Sechseläutenplatz, directly in front of the Opera House.
